Elnur ECOHHR high heat retention storage heaters are our most efficient range of storage heaters. ECOHHR storage heaters use the patented Elnur “IEM” (Integral Energy Manager)system to automatically adjust charging to suit climate and heat demands on a daily basis. The Elnur “IEM” also manages the discharge to ensure that heat is available. when needed. The smart ECOHHR storage heaters are fan assisted for heat distribution to provide faster room warm-up times. ECOHHR also have a built-in on-peak emitter to provide temperature balance and supplement the stored heat as and when required. Highly efficient due their high heat retention capability and temperature accuracy to within 0.1ºC, resulting in less energy wasted from temperature setting overshoot. These modern storage heaters are fully compliant with “SAP” specification criteria for “high heat retention storage heaters” making them the perfect electric heating product for House Builders, Developers, Social Housing Providers, Private Landlords and Homeowners. FAQs

My ECOHHR has ERR4 code on the display?

The Error 4 code is usually caused by a timing issue. If your heater has only recently been installed, we advise contacting your energy provider to check your Economy 7 /10 supply timings and amend these on your ECOHHR in the General settings of the heater. How to amend charge times? The Error 4 can also be caused by an issue with the time/day on the heater. We would advise checking the current set times and amending them to the correct time and day. My ECOHHR storage heater is only lukewarm?

The ECOHHR range is a high heat retention storage heater, this means the storage heater has thicker insulation and the casing won't feel as hot as your older standard storage heater did. Even though the casing is lukewarm the heater will still contain a lot of heat inside, ready for when you want to release. This type of heater is designed to maintain the set temperature throughout the day and is designed not to waste energy, this means every day the heater will measure how much heat is needed and will adjust itself as needed.
Are Elnur Storage Heaters Supplied with Cable?

Our Storage heaters do not come with cable. They do not come with cable as the distance from a fused spurs varies too much to supply a set length. The qualified electrician would usually supply the cable needed to wire in your storage heater.
Are these heaters a direct replacement for my current heater?

Not exactly no. Modern storage heaters do differ to the older traditional storage heater. Most noticeably due to the fact that they now require a constant (24 hour) power supply to function. This can be done with either a single meter which has a dual rate supply which allows you to set the charging periods on the heater to match your economy rates OR if you have a separate supply and meter for your economy you would require a secondary supply (24 hour) to the heater.
